Cops: Man Busted For Driving On Drugs in Mattituck
The man was stopped for failure to maintain lane, police said.
A Calverton man was busted Friday for driving under the influence of drugs in Mattituck, police said.
According to Southold Town police, John C. Brophy, 44, of Calverton, was arrested on Friday at 9:53 a.m. on Route 48 and Elijahs Lane after police stopped him for failing to maintain his lane and he was found to be impaired by drugs.
Brophy was arrested charged with DWI, drugs, a misdemeanor, and transported to Southold Town police headquarters to be processed. Brophy was held to await arraignment before Southold Town Justice Court.
