Cops: Man Busted After Swiping Cigarettes, Extradited To Florida
The man is facing felony charges for theft-related incidents, police said.
A Greenport man caught stealing cigarettes is being extradited back to Florida on felony warrants, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Craig A. Waters, 31, was arrested Monday after an investigation revealed he had stolen two packs of cigarettes from a Greenport store, police said.
Waters, police said, was found to have two active felony warrants out of Brevard County in Florida for theft-related charges. He posted bail on the Southold charge and was turned over to the Suffolk County Police Fugitive Squad for extradition to Florida, police said.
