Cops: Jamesport Woman Busted For Selling Alcohol To A Minor

The woman faces two misdemeanor charges, police said.

A Jamesport woman was cuffed after police said she sold alcohol to a minor.

According to New York State police, the clerk was arrested during an underage drinking initiative conducted Thursday at 6:40 p.m. at the Jamesport Mini Mart.

She was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree, a misdemeanor, and prohibited sale of alcohol to a minor, a misdemeanor, police said.

She was held for arraignment on Friday at Riverhead Town Justice Court.
