Cops: Man Raped Girl, 12, in Greenport

A man was arrested and charged with the rape of a girl, 12, in Greenport on Saturday, police said.

According to Southold Town police Erick W. Ramirez, 20, was arrested on Saturday after an investigation revealed that he engaged in sexual intercourse with the girl.

He was arrested and charged with rape in the first degree, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a felony.

Ramirez, an illegal immigrant, was arrested and taken to Southold Town police headquarters, where he was processed and held overnight for arraignment Sunday before Justice William Price.

Bail was set at $250,000.

Ramirez was then transported to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility. A Department of Homeland Security immigration detainer was also placed on Ramirez for being an illegal alien, police said.

so long as eileen wingate david abatelli and sylvia perrillo work in this village this will continue to happen!!!!!!!!!! this animal lived in an illegal apt. that all three not only know about but take payola to allow this and a few other out of town land lords to profit off the real villagers (the ones that actually live here) these rooming houses are packed with people of color and pay up to 150 bucks a week for a spot on a floor with 5 or more men sharing the same small room
