Cops: Elderly Man Hit By Car in Cutchogue
No charges were filed in the accident, police said.
An elderly man was seriously hurt after being hit by a car in Cutchogue on Tuesday, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Domenick Manzolillo, of St. Augustine, Florida, was crossing Route 25 in Cutchogue in a pedestrian crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Mimi Christy, 48, of Westhampton Beach.
Manzolillo was treated by the Cutchogue Fire Department Rescue unit and brought to Peconic Bay Medical Center in serious condition.
The investigation is ongoing, police said. No charges were filed against Christy.
