Cops: 4 Arrested In DWI Sting

Checkpoints and saturation patrols were stationed across the North Fork, police said.

An East End  Stop DWI task force that deployed at various points around the North Fork Saturday night netted four arrests, police said.

According to Southold Town police, members of agencies taking part in the task force conducted both sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout the North Fork.

The four nabbed included June Kirby, 44, of Hauppauge, who was charged with driving while intoxicated, Morris Shuman, 70, of Brooklyn, charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana; John Erb, 50, of Levittown, who was charged with aggravated DWI; and Victoria Murray, 29, of Floral Park, charged with DWI.

All were processed and held for arraignment, police said.
