Brief biography:

I own, Melmar Enterprises a Communication Skills Development Training Company. I have extensive training in communication skills, conflict resolution, mediation, and emotional intelligence skills. For over 30 years I have developed and designed programs for hundreds of companies and conducted seminars, workshops, training programs for major airlines, government, military, human resources, , health care institutions, library systems, education, banking and retail.

Why you should vote for me: 

I believe that I have the energy and skills necessary to address the critical issues that are important to Southold. As a certified mediator and given my extensive background in communication as a trainer and facilitator I will be an effective listener and give this community their voice on the Town Board. I will encourage regular  community input and work to insure that decisions are made in the best interests of the entire community. I will work to be an effective voice for agriculture and small business to help them prosper and to ensure that we can maintain our cultural heritage. I also believe that the town board needs to have new people with fresh ideas and not career politicians. A diverse board, that more adequately reflects the community, will make Southold stronger and enable us to find better solutions to future issues. Let us all work together to maintain our “Good Neighbor” approach to living in Southold Town.
