Visions For Vacancies: Former Ariyana Limited

In this series, readers can discuss what they would like to see spring up from vacant locations in Patchogue and Medford.

In “Visions for Vacancies,” Patchogue Patch will feature vacant storefronts and seek input from readers as to the type of business they would like to see fill the empty location.

Formerly categorized as the Ariyana Limited clothing store, 14 E. Main Street is now an empty storefront that sits next to .

According to Manta.com, the store was previously a women's clothing shop, and the previous storefront of Ariyana Limited can be found using Street View on Google Maps.

What would you like to see come to this former clothing shop? A new clothing shop? A new food location? Maybe even a recreation center? Tell us what you think in the comments or in the poll.

This is a ridiculous discussion. Its like dreaming about what we would do with the money won from the lottery. Unless you have the money to invest and a vision of what you think will be successful in any vacant location than this "wish list" matters little. Anyone commenting here actually considering opening up a business in town soon? Lets hear your idea. If not, who cares?

Fed Up Patch- That building has been condemned and I believe is the Town Of Brookhaven's responsibility. Someone recently had a plan to renovate it but it will cost far, FAR too much to get it done. Too much as in millions.

Hello, if the stores you have mentioned above offer good quality products , reasonable priced and I need these goods, I will support them and spend my hard made money there.

Why doesn't Tritec try now; a few years later, look for a hotel chain. The village crime has decreased and the economy is improving. So why don't they go back to the drawing board and ask around again?

I would like to see a nice Hallmark store and a Red Lobster here in the village. These are two of the reasons i go out of town for.
