Sex Education Policy at Mattituck High School

Is it possibly true that the sex education policy at MHS is abstinence only?  When I found this out I was so outraged and embarrassed. The backwards nature of such a policy, in such a great town, at such a great school is unthinkable. I was wondering what group of closed minded people could possibly put this in place? Study after study proves that that kind of policy is ridiculous! Any comments? How can we all change this for a stronger, educated , and empowered youth.
