The food and people at the Sterlington are the very best. I mean- the bacon, holy cow. Also Eriks makes a mean breakfast sandwich.

...but who out here does Eggs Benedict. That and a Mimosa are a great Sunday brunch that I really miss. This is a missed opportunity for both patrons and restaurants.

Get some rolls or bagels at the Southold IGA and settle down in your own kitchen. You could probably make a week's worth if bacon and egg sandwiches for what it cost for one or two of the deli mades

Jamesport: we have (3) Duffy's which has the small town vibe and you know your sammich' is always going to taste the same way EVERYDAY! Good ol' place. then there is Katrinka-... oh wait and that bagel place in there... They are not the greatest but when your in a rush in the summer months and need to hurry, quick get food and get to the beach... I would go there.. But not either everyday. Katrinka makes good cutlets though, I may add.

Sandy Beech continued on Facebook: "Now we move on to Mattituck... North Fork Bagel is gone, no problem they nooked their eggs and overcharged for a teaspoon of creamcheese! I SAID BRUTAL HONESTY!!! Enough said! It certainly isn't like it was back in High School... Antique Deli across the street... depending on if they are stocked and supplied, you may be able to get exactly what you want... But there is a chance "NO HOME FRIES FOR YOU" HA! Then lets jump across the street... North Fork Deli: Now we all love the place BUT, when you order a breakfast wrap or sammich' and pay $7 for it, you expect more than 1 egg, 2 strips of bacon and a half a slice of cheese and maybe a squirt of ketchup... JUST SAYIN... SEVEN DOLLARS! I also spent $15 on lunch one day to only pick up a couple slices at Village a couple minutes later... Never went back again! There are plenty of deli's in Mattituck the MOTHER OF ALL DELI's historic satisfaction and a place to see the entire town of mattituck between the hours of Open to about 10am is WENDY'S DELI... Thanks Wendy for continuing to be the BEST! > ok... Then you Wayside, the Second BEST > we all know why, you'll be full till supper time!!! Grateful right across the way is also a clean and comfy establishment and good eats... > >>>>> Greenport is generally too far for us Tuckers... lol But they have a great deli... I haven't been on vacation out there in a while from up the island here HA!!!!"
