Boat cruise from Greenport to Crescent Beach and back with friends. Lunch, drinks, floating, sun. Can't beat it.

My daughter spent more time out of her wheelchair over the past three months than she has over the past three years. I had the chance to dance with her, go to the park with her, watch her stand and perform for all of 10 seconds with the Shakespearean players in the Wine Garden at Comtesse Therese Bistro, sit and enjoy the amazing bay view from The Soundview with her, and finally, enjoy her perform at open-mic night at the Peconic Bay Winery a couple of weeks ago. I'm beyond thankful that I was blessed to be able to enjoy this time with my incredibly brave and strong 12 year old, and I wouldn't have traded it for the world!

I loved our very last minute road trip to Hershey Park with the family. The weather was perfect and the kids did well--even with all the theme park craziness and five-hour drive:)
