Question of the Day: Ever Seen a Ghost on the North Fork?

With a presentation from a Long Island ghost hunter coming up in Mattituck, we want to know if you've ever encountered a ghost in this land rich with history.

Before Long Island ghost hunter Diane Flammer takes the stage at Mattituck-Laurel Historical Society and Museums at 7 p.m. Tuesday night with an illustrated talk on cemeteries and ghosts, North Fork Patch would like you to share your ghost stories with us. Have you ever been inside of any number of historical homes on the North Fork and felt an otherworldy presence? Ever experienced any real scares ala "Poltergeist?" Have a friendly spirit who lingers in your Victorian home in Greenport?

Don't be scared to comment in the boxes below.
