Roanoke Vineyards' 2009 "Rhyme and Meter" Chardonnay is a lush barrel-fermented chardonnay made by Roman Roth from grapes grown in Aquebogue. Though wine reviewer Lenn Thompson isn't the biggest fan of barrel-fermented chardonnay, he gives this particular wine two thumbs up on his blog, the New York Cork Report.
