Help us Find Missing Cat of Greenport Home Devastated by Fire

Mrs. Pollack, who lives in the house on First Street, Greenport that burned down this past Wednesday evening, cannot find her cat, Sylvio.  He escaped alive but ran off. He is an old, small, solid color grey long-haired cat with a fluffy tail who is a total house cat and very friendly. He has a microchip installed so if found and taken to any vet or the Animal Welfare League, he will be identified. Unfortunately, all her photos were lost in the fire.  DO TRY TO CATCH HIM he is a totally friendly cat. If you do rescue him .., give me a call (631-456-9044) and I will inform the neighbor coordinating this effort who is a good friend of the cat’s owner.  She will let owner know the cat has been found. Please let everyone you know around here know about this...it would be a needed kindness to return the cat to his owner for a woman who has just lost her husband and dog and her home to the fire.
