Memorial Day Weekend on the North Fork

Memorial Day weekend is already upon us, what will you and yours do this weekend?

The unofficial opening weekend of summer is upon us. This Memorial Day Weekend is jam packed with activities geared to all ages. Greenport is hosting the Tall Ships Challenge as it moves its way up the East Coast commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812.  Also in Greenport is the annual carnival on the Polo Grounds and fireworks Friday and Sunday nights.  Southold is hosting a Village Merchants Memorial Weekend Sidewalk Sale along with the North Fork's annual Parade on Memorial Day.  Saturday from noon - 3:00PM New Suffolk is hosting it's annual Chowder Festival with live music, street painting, children's art activities and much more.  We hope to see everyone out and about supporting the local economy and enjoying the holiday weekend. Remember to drive responsibly.
