North Fork Works--a very local program from WPKN radio
NORTH FORK WORKS is a monthly radio program on WPKN 89.5 fm on which you can hear Hazel Kahan (who also hosts Tidings) interview people who live and work on the North Fork.
What do David Nyce, Bob Jester, Ron Rothman and Peggie Ehlers have in common?
They have all been guests on North Fork Works, a program created just because I really wanted to know more about my neigbors. Chances you'll learn things you didn't know about them either--such as the many ways they work (which is why I call them "multiples") and how they feel about living on the North Fork
Next month (Wednesday, July 4 at 7.30 pm) it's Gerarda Boger. She propagates plants and makes beach glass jewelry and is learning to play the violin. Details will be posted in the next Patch NoFoWo blog.
