Toni DeMeo Honored

Toni DeMeo of Cutchogue, a community volunteer and leader has been selected by New York State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle as the First Senatorial District's Woman of Distinction for 2012. 

Toni currently serves as a both a volunteer and director of volunteers, a position she has held since 1995 at Greenport's Eastern Long Island Hospital (ELIH). She is responsible for day-to-day scheduling, recruitment, interviewing, position assignment as well as overall supervision and training for all hospital volunteers.

She will be honored by LaValle at a special ceremony at the hospital.
