Who We are:

IRIE... it is a Jamaican word that means without worries or problems. It is a very fitting name for us. We work with children who have special needs. We give them the chance to learn about horses, how to ride them, and how to care for them. They begin to learn about responsibilities. They are taking care of another living creature. For many children this is the first time that they are giving the care.

Along the way something that we call "equine magic " takes place. It usually comes with lots of big smiles, kids who walk a little taller, sit a bit staighter, and laugh louder.

Please take some time and read about our program, and our horses. We invite you to visit our program site. Our sessions are offered during the week and on Saturdays.

Come see what "equine magic " is all about.

Our program is located

at Union Standardbred Farm 937 Reeves Ave.

The "EELHA" was formed in 1980 to protect the rights of livestock and horse owners. The club is open to all livestock owners, enthusiasts and equestrians.

Our goals are to a promote and encourage members, youth of the community, and the general public, in the enjoyment, care, showing and recreational use of horses and livestock.
We encourage and provide a social and friendly exchange among our members and the public. We have four to five dinner meetings a year at local restaurants. We discuss news within the club, fundraisers, have guest speakers of various topics to educate all.
