Who Lives in the Sea? A Waterside Exploration

 The Peconic
Land Trust and the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund will be joined by Ron Gelardi
and his team from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation
for a seashore exploration.
Using a
seine net, you’ll collect, examine and release an amazing variety of creatures
that swim at the shore!  Get an up-close
look at crabs, fish, mollusks and shrimp before they are released back into the
water.  All attendees should wear water
shoes to protect feet, and be prepared to get wet!  Please call the Peconic Land Trust at
631.283.3195, ext. 19, or email to Events@PeconicLandTrust.org to reserve your
space.  FREE!  Rain cancels. For more info, visit
