TOWN PUBLIC MEETING " Solutions to Goldsmith Inlet Sand Buildup and Pollution Being Addressed

The Town of Southold is scheduling a public meeting on Saturday August 24th from 11 to 12:30 at the Peconic School, Peconic Lane, to update the public on their plans to address the buildup of sand, reduced flushing and serious pollution in Goldsmith Inlet and the surrounding watershed.

The purpose of the meeting is for the public to review the draft results of the year long study by the Town's consultants and to provide input as they develop their final recommendations.

The consultants study will be posted on the Town website. Please contact Mark Terry, Principal Planner, Southold Town Planning Department (765-1938) for questions or additional information."
