Introduction to the Herb Garden with Heather Cusack
The Peconic Land Trust will offer a 4-part workshop series
focused on the herb garden, led by herbalist and biologist Heather Cusack. Learn
about the medicinal, culinary, cosmetic and historical uses of some common wild
and cultivated herbs, like Echinacea, lavender, sage, rosemary, basil and
parsley. You will leave knowing the basics of using herbs in cooking,
medicines, salves and creams - plus take home your own herb plant. Series dates
include June 14, July 25 and August 15, reserve your space today!
