Garden Sprouts: Childrens Gardening with a Jewish Twist

Children thrive in outdoor settings and learn best through their own discovery. Garden Sprouts is a unique sensory-rich experience on the farm children ages 3-6 and their parents/caregivers!

This unique program emphasizes important values such as appreciation and beauty, stewardship and care, cooperation and teamwork, and the blessings of food, family and celebration in our lives.

Activities include story walks, treasure hunts, singing, digging, planting, and tending to your own garden bed! Learn what grows, climbs, sleeps, crawls and most of all tastes yummy! A combination of free time for exploration and organized play will enrich everyone's appreciation for the natural world and create lasting memories with other families. Each week a different nature topic is explored. July 13: Seeds and Sprouts!

Program begins July 13th and runs 5x throughout the summer ending September 14th. Garden Sprouts is a Jewish Without Walls community program. Fee: $25/Series or $8/Drop-In Fee per Family. Free for Garden of Eve CSA Members.

RSVP TODAY and see the full activity schedule.  You can also register through Jewish Without Walls and see their full line up of summer programs here. For more information please email program coordinator Shariee Calderone at scalderone@jewishedproject.org or call 516-672-1395.
