Greenport Mardis Gras Masquerade Ball

Welcome to Mardi Gras!!

Saturday, February 9th 2013 Greenport will host its first annual Mardi Gras Masquerade Party.  The 2nd floor of Greenport's Masonic Temple will set the stage for a lively event that celebrates the local community.  Currently home to Five Branches Wellness , the venue will be transformed into a ballroom gilt with the decorative influence of New Orleans' French Quarter.  Tickets must be purchased in advance & you will be checked in on our guest list.  We will give you a wrist band so you can get your grub on.

Attendees can look forward to a buffet of Cajun & Creole inspired cuisine paired with local wines while dancing to some old time, down-home jazz!

Wine pairings provided by Greenport Wines & Spirits ($3.00 a glass)

While it is not required for attendees to come decked out in their best mardi gras inspired mask, it certainly makes the night more fun!

Greenports Mardi Gras Masquerade is the brain child of Rena Wilhelm, owner of The White Weathered Barn located in the center of town.  This is her 2nd community event after developing Greenport's 12 Days of Christmas.  Together with some local helping hands, Ms. Wilhelm looks forward to celebrating the local community year round.
