The public is invited to attend an illustrated talk about the Russian-born painter and caricaturist Saul Raskin. The event will take place in the community room at Congregation Tifereth Israel, the historic synagogue in Greenport, NY.
Synagogue member Debra Riva will lead the discussion and show examples of his work from her private collection and those on loan from
Temple Adas Israel in Sag Harbor.
Refreshments will be offered following the program.
Saul Raskin (1878-1966) was an artist, writer, lecturer, teacher, illustrator and printmaker, best known as a painter and caricaturist.
