Join Karan Lee of Wholesome Living Practice for a hands-on, interactive introduction to organic foods and sustainable agriculture for families and children of all ages. It is based on the book, No Eat, Not Food by Rick Sanger and Carol Russell (for 8 to 12 year-olds, but loved by pre-schoolers, teenagers, and adults as well) that received both Nautilus Book Award Finalist (Saving the World One Book at a Time) and the Moonbeam Book Award “Kids for Saving Earth”. If you can, bring a vegetable, fruit, etc. (let’s see what variety we can find!) and a food in a box or can (junk food, processed food, or not!). For reservations or more information, please contact Missy Weiss at 631-765-6450 ext. 219 or mweiss@eastendenvironment.org. A family donation of $5 is suggested.
