Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck will be
presenting Bradstock XX, a two-day festival
featuring live music and poetry that will be taking place on Saturday, August 31
from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, September 1 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Now in its 20th year, Bradstock is an all-day music festival
featuring the best musical acts performing Americana, bluegrass, blues, reggae,
jams, funk, rock and jazz. Among those who will be performing include Nurse
Diesel and Brian “Uncle B” Johnson; Groney & Crew; Soundswell; Jellyband;
Noah’s Arc; The Jerry McDonald Experience; Chip Watterson; Gerry McKeveny; Miles
to Dayton; David Amram and Funkin’ A. In addition, there will be a Poetry Stage
featuring the area’s finest and most diverse poets and a Folk and Songwriters’
stage featuring the best local musical talent.
Tickets are $35 for the first day, $50 for the second day and $80 for both
days. Prices include admission and beverages. For $125, concertgoers will receive access to the brand-new deck and backstage beer garden, a
limited-edition Platinum Chief T-shirt and mug and overnight camping (advance
reservations required). Part of the ticket sales will go to benefit Camp
Pa-Qua-Tuck. Over the past two years, Bradstock raised $20,000 for the camp.
