Alexander Calder is a special co-production of American Masters and Florentine Films/ Sherman Pictures LLC. It is the first definitive portrait of the inventor of the mobile, the first moving sculpture that seduces, charms, hypnotizes and makes us laugh. The one-hour documentary program shows Calder at work in his studio and features never-before-seen archival films and photographs. Those interviewed include, among others, critic Brendan Gill, writer Arthur Miller, architect I.M. Pei. 60 min.
