North Fork residents were pounded by Friday's blizzard conditions, with up to two feet of reported in some areas -- and snow continuing to fall Saturday morning.

Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell declared a state of emergency Friday night, urging residents to stay off the roads.

But on the upside, the North Fork has been transformed into a winter wonderland -- pretty as a winter postcard.
