Sept. 20: Five Activities For Kids

The calendar is full of things to do for kids of all ages on Tuesday.

No matter how old your children are, you can bet there will be something fun and productive for them to do on the North Fork, from storytime at the library to sporting events at local schools:

1. 'Toys, Tots and Tales' at the Cutchogue New Suffolk Free Library: Spend an hour with your baby (up to 36 months of age) playing and singing with other children and parents at the library from 9:30 to 10 a.m.

2. Mattituck girls' soccer takes on Mount Sinai at home: Mattituck girls play Mount Sinai's soccer team on their home turf at 4:00 p.m.

3. Southold/Greenport girls' soccer will play Smithtown: The consolidated Southold/Greenport girls' soccer team will see if they can beat the girls from Smithtown at 4:30 p.m. at the fields of Southold Junior-Senior High School.

4. Greenport School's back-to-school night: Parents and teens in grades 7 through 12 can congregate at Greenport School at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday to talk about how things are going so far over refreshments and activities.

5. Southold Free Library's Teen Advisory Board: If you are a teenager living in Southold, you might be interested in giving the adults in charge of Southold Free Library a little advice as to what you would like out of the library. The Teen Advisory Board meets at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
