Postal Worker Injured in Crash

Police say 94-year-old man drove up the curb and into the post office.

A postal worker was injured on Monday at around 1 p.m. when a 94-year-old man accidentaly hit the gas instead of the breaks, driving his car up a curb and then slamming into the side of the on Traveler Street.

According to , a postal worker inside the building was injured and the man driving the car, Francis Roland of Southampton was taken by the to to be checked out.

Police say the town's building department inspected the post office and reported that it is in sound condition.
