Popularity of Brewery Tasting Rooms Rises

Places like Greenport Brewing Co. are seeing more people come in for local suds.

Winery tasting rooms have long become a part of the North Fork's landscape, but when it comes to its brewers, the popularity is just starting to foam up.

At , the tasting room is attracting more and more visitors, according to a Suffolk Times report. Patrons are lured in by the fresh beer, straight from the tap.

It's a success Riverhead newcomer Long Ireland Beer Co. hopes to replicate. That brewer, located on Pulaski Street .
