Police Report: Mattituck Man Charged with DWI in Hampton Bays

Southampton Town Police charge Mattituck man with DWI and moving violations.

The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

James H Pape, 27, of Mattituck was arrested on Saturday at 2:46 a.m. on Ponquogue Ave. in Hampton Bays. Police observed Pape speeding on Ponquogue Ave., pulled him over and found him to be intoxicated. Police charged Pape with driving while intoxicated, speeding, and moving from lane unsafely.
