#93: Mitchell Park in the Middle of March

You might think that mid-March on the North Fork is a frustrating desert wasteland of boredom and end-of-winter doldrums. And in some ways, you're right. But on a visit to Mitchell Park a few days ago just after noon, we had a nice weekday visit with peace, quiet and blissful isolation in a place normally teeming with activity at the ice rink during the winter and everywhere else during the warmer months.
