Over 100 LIPA Customers Without Power in Mattituck
Long Island Power Authority map still showing many Mattituck outages.
The power went out in several Mattituck homes shortly before 10 a.m. on Wednesday due to heavy rains Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.
As of about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, the outage map on the Long Island Power Authority's website still shows 118 Mattituck LIPA customers affected by the outage. A few homes in Southold are also still without power as of this time according to the map.
