Mattituck-Laurel Librarians Pick 8 Kids' Books for Hanukkah

Read a book a day with your child as you celebrate Hanukkah.

Late last week, we asked Southold Children's Librarian Dana Bruey to suggest some throughout the holiday season.

Now as Hanukkah comes upon us, we asked the staff at to provide a list of Hanukkah titles for kids. Below is a list eight books for kids from birth through elementary school. Read one each day! All the titles can be found at the Mattituck-Laurel Library on Route 25, or check your local library for their titles.

My First Chanukah by Tomie DePaola - This board book describes the celebration of Chanukah, including the lighting of candles on the menorah, the eating of latkes, and the spinning of the dreidel.
