July 29: Get Ready for One Entertaining Weekend

Cut loose at the North Fork Community Theater at a play before unleashing your inner rock star at the NoFo Rock and Folk Festival this weekend.

Your head will be spinning with all the activities happening on the North Fork this weekend, from major rock stars hitting Peconic Bay Winery to a skate festival in Greenport:

: This two-day outdoor music festival at has a backbeat of local wine, food, beer, eclectic vendors and more. Hours are Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Lineup includes: Foghat, Elvin Bishop, Corky Laing & The Memory Thieves, John Sebastian, Commander Cody, Gordon Gano & The Ryans, Lance Lopez, John Eddie, Jon DiVello Band, Brian Ritchey, The Lone Sharks, Nancy Atlas, Miles to Dayton and Sunrise Skyline. Grammy-nominated Brady Rymer headlines "Fam Jam" family-friendly jamboree. Acoustic stage and musicians' row showcase local talent. A portion of festival proceeds supports youth music education through the East End Arts Council. 4.: William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet will be performed outdoors in the Wine Garden at in Aquebogue on Sunday at 5 p.m. Directed by A.D. Newcomer, with costumes designed by Joan Chambers.
