Jan. 22: Dancing, Rocking and Wrestling

The North Fork rocks this weekend with a benefit concert for the homeless, ballroom dancing and ice skating.

Check out three local bands while supporting local homeless shelteror take a ballroom dancing class at tonight.

1. For the third year in a row, in Riverhead hosts a fundraiser for North Fork homeless shelter program The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and features the high-energy music of local bands Who Are Those Guys, Boot Scoot Boogie and the Lone Sharks. Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the door and include food, beverages, and door prize entry. Go to http://www.maureenshaven.org/ for more information.

2. Members of the will perform the musical “Lend Me a Tenor” tonight at 7:30 p.m. at theauditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and students. Call 631-765-5081.

3. Brush up on your moves at a session at in Southold tonight at 7 p.m. And you might as well get happy with a bottle of bubbly while you’re there. Call 631-765-0200.
