Jan. 18: Duck Count, Town Board and Pan-Roasted Cod

The Southold Town Board and Oysterponds School Board both hold meetings tonight while a local chef shares a delicious fresh cod recipe today on North Fork Patch.

You can help count waterfowl for New York State this morning, then check in on what officials plan to do about coastal erosion at the board’s work session today and meeting tonight.

1. Join staff members ofin Greenport today to help count ducks for a New York State waterfowl census. The count starts at 8 a.m. Participants will meet at the red barn at the county park and will walk and drive to assigned locations. Call 631-275-3202.
