Nyce urged residents to go to the village's website for emergency numbers.

Residents are also asked to follow snow removal guidelines to keep family, neighbors and crews safe.

Snow removal guidelines indicate that all-night parking is prohibited on any road or street when a snowfall in the amount of two inches or more is predicted.

In addition, snow is to be removed from all residential and commercial sidewalks within 24 hours after a snowfall.
