Residents tired of debris and plastic bags littering the North Fork's pristine landscape and polluting the wetlands can make a difference.
The North Fork Audobon society invites residents to "Clean Up the Causeway;" the event kicks off Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Volunteers should meet at Truman's Beach parking lot; the causeway cleanup will extend from East Marion to Orient.
