Feb. 23: LI Slavery Exhibit, Sushi for Kids, Family Planning

With kids still on winter break, it's all about family activities today on the North Fork.

Check out these five things, from family movies to family planning and a few more days of a Black History Month exhibit, today:

1. , 539 First Street in Greenport, presents Disney's " today at 11 a.m. for a family movie screening. The movie is rated G. Call 631-477-0660.

2. Become a bona fide at, 51900 Route 25 in Southold, at 1 p.m. today. This program is geared toward children ages 5-12 to help them learn about Asian culture. Call 631-374-6248.

3. 's of documents involving birth, ownership, and freedom of slaves from the 1700s through the 1800s will be on display for only a few more days. Go to the museum at 300 West Main Street in Riverhead to see this amazing exhibit this week. Call 631-727-2881 for hours. The exhibit includes a replica of slave quarters, dolls, and a portrait.

, located at 523 Front Street in Greenport, offers itstonight at 5:30 p.m. for those in need. The dinner is free and open to all. Call 631-477-0048.
