Expect Wintery Mix During Afternoon Commute on the North Fork

Weather.com predicts snowfall to be about half an inch through 8 p.m.

The snow is falling throughout the North Fork, which could make for a dangerous commute on Monday evening.

Snow, sleet or freezing rain will fall throughout the afternoon, changing to rain around 4 p.m., according to www.weather.com. Rain will come to an end by early evening, with temperatures near the mid 30s. Snowfall is predicted to be about half an inch through 8 p.m.

So be careful out there as you head home from school and work.
