Edible Blogger: Slow Food Hosts $5 Potluck Challenge

Edible East End blogger says it is possible to eat healthy on the cheap.

Eileen Duffy of Edible East End says that slow food does not have to be expensive, and a group is out to prove it on Shelter Island this coming Sunday.

The East End chapter of Slow Food will be holding a $5 Challenge Potluck Dinner for their annual meeting at the Shelter Island Historical Society Barn from 4 to 7 p.m.

Try for dishes that cost no more than $5 for 4 servings and read more about the event on Edible East End's website here.
