1. , 1500 Brecknock Road in Greenport, hosts a lecture on the latest in hearing aid technology at 2 p.m. This presentation will teach attendees what hearing aids can do and what they cannot do and how to get the most from hearing aids. The session is free. Call 631-477-3800.
2. Check out another informative session at thein Northville, this time on the work of Rudolf Steinerat 6:30 p.m. Donations will go to restore the historic Grange building.
3. Enroll your kids from reading age through pre-teen in an on-camera acting class. The session takes place at in Greenport at 7 p.m. Students will work with commercial scripts written specifically for children. The work will be on-camera to help build confidence, speech clarity, focus, and presentation. This is a six-week course. Call 631-369-2171.
, 54655 Route 25 in Southold, presents another session of "Music Together," an internationally acclaimed early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and the adults who love them, beginning at 10:30 a.m. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.
