April 18: Passover, Quacker Jack Meet-and-Greet, More Earth Day Stuff

The eight-day holiday of passover is observed Monday night in Greenport while Earth Day coverage continues on North Fork Patch.

1. 519 4th Street in Greenport, will host members, guests and visitors in a Passover Seder on the first night of the eight-day holiday beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the community room of the synagogue. The ceremony will be followed by a dinner catered by kosher catering division headed by chef Costs are $65 for adults; $35 for youngsters and teens from ages 6 through 15 and no charge for children 5 and younger.
