Weekend Must Do: Shop at the Southold Village Fair

Before you head out to the beach on Saturday, stop by the Southold Village Fair and enjoy one of the last street fairs of the season.

With the weekends of summer rapidly coming to a close, why not take the time to stop by one of the season’s last street fairs?

On Saturday, the Southold Village Merchants and the North Fork Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Southold Village Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. along Route 25.

This is truly one of those small town events that is appropriate for all ages. Stop by the Southold Historical Society for a tour of its grounds. Take the little ones for pony rides or listen to live music along the route. For the bargain hunters, Southold merchants will be holding sidewalk sales all day. In addition, craft vendors will be set up selling a variety of homemade goods. This year the fair will also feature roaming pirates.
