Are You Watching the Leaves Change?

Share your photos with Patch as you head along this driving tour - or just sit in your back yard.

It's that time of year again when the leaves are changing from green to yellow to orange to red – a beautiful time before they fall and then have to be raked up in the yard.

Many outdoors enthusiasts consider this a great time of year to go for a hike or drive the longer, scenic route to see as many leaves as they can changing from day to day.

But where to go? What to see?

That's where you come in.

You can share your photos here by simply hitting the 'upload' link above and let your neighbors know how the fall season is going in your neck of the woods.

The New York Department of Economic Development – in charge of the famous I Love New York campaign – created a website to provide some pointers and let you know what the season is like in particular parts of the state.

The Fall Foliage Report even has a page devoted to an East End excursion, promoting stops at local tourist attractions along the way.

So follow that map or make one of your own, and let us know how the leaves are falling near you. Thanks for sharing.
