The Week Ahead: Maritime Festival, Dean Friedman, Bedell Cruise

A one-hit wonder artist from the ‘70s plays the Sandpiper as the Maritime Festival takes over the rest of the village this week.

It’s the last week of the summer of 2012 and there is much to do, but the Maritime Festival will naturally take the lead in Greenport this weekend. Brecknock Hall will also host an interesting presentation on the correlation between music and stroke recovery, and Bedell Cellars holds its annual wine and cheese cruise around Shelter Island this week as well.
