Question of the Day: What Sort of Restaurants Would You Like to See on the North Fork?

With Tony's Fusion coming to Mattituck, the North Fork now has its first Asian-Fusion / sushi joint. What other types of restaurants would you like to see open locally?

Tony's Fusion, a Hamptons-based restaurant featuring Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine and a wide selection of sushi, is set to open next month in Mattituck on Route 25 across the street from the Magic Fountain, taking over the old North Fork Grill building. It will join in Cutchogue and nowin in offering up scrumptious raw fish dishes.

The North Fork has its share of diverse places for casual and fine dining — but what would you like to see more of? Sushi joints? Italian? Steakhouses? Irish pubs?
