Open For The Season: Drossos Snack Bar and Miniature Golf
Take the kids for an afternoon of miniature golf at Drossos in Greenport.
Greenport in the summer conjures of memories of simples pleasures for scores of visitors and residents alike -- walks by the Sound, a ride on the carousel, and a game of miniature golf and a burger with fries at Drossos.
Drossos Motel and Tick Tock Miniature Golf have been a fixture on the North Fork for over 50 years.
And Saturday, the Snack Bar and miniature golf course at Drossos, located on Main Road in Greenport, open for the season.
Owner Minnie Costas said the motel, miniature golf course, and property sustained damage "inside and out" during Superstorm Sandy. But repairs have been made and the business is open for visitors hoping for a game of mini-golf and a taste of simple pleasures.
